DESIGNER WILLIAM R. EUBANKS’ name is synonymous with refined, classic interior design. At the mention of his name, one envisions a comfortable, but timeless, decoration of sumptuous silk and damask fabrics, period antiques from Europe, rich jewel-toned colors, Flemish tapestries, Old Master paintings, fine porcelains, and Aubusson and Oushak carpets. From the firm he opened in Memphis, Tenn. in 1976, his interior design and antiques business has grown to New York and Palm Beach, where he has an elegant showroom. Eubanks holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and is an Allied Member of ASID, Associate Member of IIDA, Professional Member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America, and a member of the Shelter Interiors Design Alliance Advisory Board. In January of 2007, Eubanks received the Star of Design award for the category of Interior Design from the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Fla., where he has also served as the keynote speaker for both Veranda in 2006 and Shelter in 2007. In December 2005, Eubanks was named one of the Top 50 designers in the United States by Elements of Living. Eubanks has projects throughout the United States and abroad, and his award-winning work has been featured in a variety of publications, including Florida Design, The Best of Florida Design, Great Designers of the World, Veranda, Quest, InStyle, Palm Beach Illustrated, Showcase of Interior Design, Elements of Living, 100 Designers’ Favorite Rooms, Palm Beach Society, Shelter, The Best of Shelter Interiors, Spectacular Homes, Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens and Southern Accents.
