After a successful partnership of fifteen years, William Eubanks established William R. Eubanks Interior Design in 1990. The firm specializes in 17th, 18th and early 19th century English and Continental antiques as well as interior design.

“This warm and vibrant drawing room was designed for a color-loving client with an insatiable appetite for collecting exotica. Fringed draperies of Scalamandre silk frame one of a pair of 19th-century Venetian blackamoors, while Empire candelabras sit beside a chinoiserie box. High ceilings and tall doorways allowed the use of well-proportioned mouldings. The Queen Anne chinoiserie double-bonnet secretary displays several collections including Sevres figures of Napoleon’s marshals. My client describes entering this room as like ‘stepping into my own jewelbox’.”
